Rebirth – Original Abstract Acrylic Painting
What does rebirth mean to you?
In Rebirth, a veil of mist begins to lift, allowing colours to finally emerge. These colours have always been there, waiting to be seen, much like the sun that continues to shine even when the sky is overcast.
A soft, almost cloudlike atmosphere unfolds through a delicate combination of pink, lilac, pale blue and white. At the centre of the painting, a black area reveals a piece of dried paint removed from the bottom of a paint container, adding an unexpected and distinctive element to the work.
Rebirth is an abstract painting about rediscovery, transformation and the realisation that what we are looking for may have been within us all along.
The painting was exhibited at the Strömfors Ruukki art exhibition from 2–28 August 2024.
